Abstract:
Provided are a method for phase-entangled encoding of a photon pair and a device for phase-entangled encoding of a photon pair. The method comprises: respectively converting a first photon and a second photon of a polarization entangled photon pair generated by a polarization-entangled light source from polarization encoded photons to phase encoded photons; and forming the phase encoded first photon and second photon into a phase entangled photon pair. Phase encoding is resistant to environmental interference in a fiber channel and can perform stable transmission. The device for phase-entangled encoding of the present invention facilitates meeting application requirements including those relating to quantum entanglement distribution for achieving resistance to environmental interference in a fiber channel, quantum teleportation, and quantum key distribution.
