Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of wireless communications. Disclosed are a method and device for pilot frequency distribution, capable of resolving the problem of appearance of large pilot frequency interference generated between multi-user beam forming (MUBF) paird users. In an embodiment of the present invention, a base station determines user equipments (UE) which are required to perform MUBF pairing and to-be-distributed ports, and sets the quantity of orthogonal cover codes (OCC) according to the quantity of the to-be-distributed ports; and further determines a pilot frequency distribution result according to the quantity of the to-be-distributed ports, the quantity of the OCCs, and the quantity of the UEs. The solution provided in the embodiment of the present invention is suitable for being used during pilot frequency distribution.
