Abstract:
A method and a device for pilot signal transmission and channel estimation, used for providing a pilot signal transmission method suitable for an IoT system. The method comprises: a terminal device mapping a pilot signal to M number of first sub-carriers, wherein each one of the first sub-carriers is dedicated to carry the pilot signal, the number of sub-carriers that can be used by the terminal device is N, and M is a positive integer smaller than N; and the terminal device transmitting the pilot signal to a network device by means of the M number of first sub-carriers.
