Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for playing multimedia resources. The method comprises: acquiring multimedia file information to be played, the multimedia file information to be played comprising a universal resource identifier (URI) for external subtitles; and sending the multimedia file information to be played to a digital media renderer (DMR). Also disclosed are a controller, a player, a renderer, a server and a storage medium.
