Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of multimedia processing. Disclosed are a method and device for playing multiple streaming media. The method comprises: receiving at least two streaming media from a streaming media server via a network; sorting the at least two streaming media in the order of descending playing frequency; and playing the streaming media sorted first in a main window on an interface of a display and outputting corresponding audio, and playing each of the remaining streaming media in a corresponding secondary window on the interface of the display and muting same. By means of the technical solution, the streaming media sorted first is played in a main window on an interface of a display and corresponding audio is output, and each of the remaining streaming media is played in a corresponding secondary window on the interface of the display and is muted, thereby effectively solving the problem of crosstalk during simultaneous playing of multiple streaming media.
