Abstract:
This resonance device is provided with: a wave guide tube; a dielectric resonator disposed coaxially to the wave guide tube; and an excitation structure thereof. One end of the wave guide tube is an open end and the other end is a shorted end. The dielectric resonator has two end surfaces disposed at opposite ends from each other, is disposed within the wave guide tube insulated from the wave guide tube in the vicinity of the open end of the wave guide tube, and the thickness that is the distance between the two end surfaces is fixed without being dependent on the position in the diametral direction of the dielectric resonator. In a power transmission device, two of the above resonance devices are provided disposed in a manner so that the open end of the wave guide tube of one resonance device and the open end of the wave guide tube of the other resonance device face each other, and power input to the excitation structure of one resonance device is output from the excitation structure of the other resonance device.
