Abstract:

In a numerically controlled machine tool which has a linear feed rod and a rotational feed rod and in which a main shaft and a table are movable relative to each other, the errors in position and attitude caused by the actions of the linear feed rod and the rotational feed rod are measured at plural measurement points set within the movable ranges of the linear feed rod and the rotational feed rod, and then, the errors in its position and attitude are stored as an error map corresponding to the position of the linear feed rod and the rotation angle of the rotational feed rod.
