Abstract:

A device for removing solid product adhered to the inner surface of an exhaust gas pipe, particularly useful when exhaust gas contains a component generating solid matter by the reaction of the exhaust gas with the water content inside the exhaust gas pipe and capable of washing out the solid product generated and adhered to the inner surface of the pipe, characterized by comprising a washing water inlet pipe having tip openings positioned in the exhaust gas pipe and feeding washing water from the tip openings onto the inner surface of the exhaust gas pipe, wherein the plurality of tip openings are provided in the washing water inlet pipe at specified intervals in the flow direction of the exhaust gas in the exhaust gas pipe so that, when the solid product generated and adhered to the inner surface of the exhaust gas pipe by the reaction of the exhaust gas with the water content inside the exhaust gas pipe is washed out with the washing water led from one tip opening, the solid product newly generated and adhered by the reaction of the exhaust gas with the washing water can be washed out with the washing water led from the tip openings at the other positions, a hot gas introduction means for heating the inner surface of the exhaust gas pipe may be installed by leading the exhaust gas into the exhaust gas pipe to prevent the solid product from being adhered by heating the inner surface of the exhaust gas pipe, and a scraping member may be provided in the exhaust gas pipe slidably in the longitudinal direction of the exhaust gas pipe for scraping off the solid product adhered to the inner surface of the exhaust gas pipe.
