Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a method for processing a data radio bearer (DRB) integrity protection verification failure. For a PDCP data PDU having a DRB integrity protection verification failure, the technical solution of updating a status variable but not delivering is used, so that unnecessary PDCP serial number gaps can be avoided, and the processing timeliness of the PDCP data PDU is improved. Particularly, when the previous one or previous n PDCP data PDUs have the DRB integrity protection verification failure, but then a sequential PDCP data PDU having a DRB integrity protection verification success is received, although the PDCP data PDU of the previous PDCP serial number has the DRB integrity protection verification failure, the PDCP data PDU is considered to have been received, so that when the newly received PDCP data PDU of a PDCP serial number has a DRB integrity protection verification success, the delivery of a PDCP SDU generated after the newly received PDCP data PDU of the PDCP serial number is processed is not affected, and the situation that data cannot be delivered due to generation of PDCP serial number gaps is avoided.
