Abstract:
A method and device for processing image data are provided. The present method for processing image data comprises: obtaining first pixel data of a first color space; decomposing the first pixel data into first part data and second part data, the first part data being high K-bit data or low K-bit data in the first pixel data, the second part data being the remaining data in the first pixel data other than the first part data; converting the first part data from the first color space to a second color space to obtain an intermediate result; determining difference data between second pixel data and the intermediate result according to the second part data; and determining second pixel data according to the intermediate result and the difference data. When carrying out color space conversion for pixel data of a certain bit width, a color space conversion mode for pixel data of another bit width can be reused, so as to reduce the overhead of color space conversion for pixel data of different bit widths.
