The present application proposes a method and a device for processing an image, the method comprising: controlling a main camera to take multiple sets of main images, and meanwhile, controlling a secondary camera to take multiple sets of secondary images; obtaining a reference main image from the multiple sets of main images, and obtaining a reference secondary image taken in the same group as the reference main image from the multiple sets of secondary images; generating a target main image by performing a synthetic noise reduction process on the multiple sets of main images by a first thread and, at the same time, (N-1) multi-threads respectively obtaining, according to the reference main image and the reference secondary image, depth information of (N-1) target images corresponding one-to-one to the (N-1) multi-threads; and, according to preset image processing parameters corresponding to the (N-1) target images, performing corresponding image processing on (N-1) target areas. Thus, different image processing is performed on different areas at the same time, improving image processing efficiency, and satisfying various user processing requirements.
