Abstract:
A method and a device for processing messages in the field of communication technology. The method includes: receiving a service message transmitted in the network; acquiring the outer layer label and the inner layer label of the message; searching for a matching node operation according to the inner layer label, or searching for a matching node operation according to both the inner layer label and the outer layer label. If a matching node operation is found, the message is processed according to the node operation; if a matching node operation is not found, the message is forwarded according to the outer layer label. The device includes: a receiving module, an acquiring module, a searching module and a processing module. The embodiments of the invention process messages according to their outer layer and inner layer labels, which enables multiple network services to share one single transmission path, thus saving label resources and improving overall network performance.
