Abstract:
Provided are a method and device for processing a notification capable of solving a problem in the prior art in which postponement display of a notification requires manual setting by a user and is less flexible. The method comprises: a terminal apparatus receiving a notification; determining whether a user has executed a removal operation within a preset duration prior to reception of the notification; and in response to confirmation of execution of the removal operation by the user within the preset duration, determining a postponement duration, and issuing an instruction to postpone display of the notification after elapse of the postponement duration. In the invention, a terminal apparatus can determine a postponement duration in response to confirmation of execution of a removal operation by a user within a preset duration prior to reception of a notification, such that an instruction can be automatically issued to postpone display of the notification after elapse of the postponement duration without requiring manual setting by the user, thereby increasing flexibility of postponement display of notifications, and accordingly improving user experience.
