Title:
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PROCESSING A PILOT TONE PLAYED BACK OVER AN ELECTROACOUSTIC SYSTEM, USING A MOBILE TERMINAL, AND MOBILE TERMINAL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/052818
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for processing a pilot tone (110) played back over an electroacoustic system (102), using a mobile terminal (100), wherein said electroacoustic system (102) comprises at least one speaker (104, 106) for playing back the pilot tone (110) at a pilot frequency, and the mobile terminal (100) comprises a microphone (112) for converting the pilot tone (110) into an electrical signal (114). In a first step of the method, frequency spikes of a pilot tone (110) spectrum, determined using said electrical signal (114), are evaluated in order to identify Doppler frequencies deviating from the pilot frequency. In a second step, a movement value (118) that characterises a movement of the mobile terminal (100) is determined on the basis of a result of the aforementioned evaluation.
