Abstract:
Disclosed in an embodiment of the present invention are a method and device for processing a time stamp, and a storage medium. The method comprises: receiving a first packet, and acquiring, from the first packet, a data frame and time stamp control information of the data frame, the first packet being a PTP event packet; switching an operating frequency for the data frame from a MAC clock domain to a PCS clock domain, the MAC clock domain being a clock domain in which the data frame is operating in a MAC layer; when the data packet starts to operate in the PCS clock domain, acquiring a current local time of data; performing an update to a current correction field of the data frame according to the time stamp control information and the current local time; and updating the data frame with the updated current correction field, and transmitting the updated data frame to a PCS layer.
