Abstract:
The present application provides a method and a device for processing a video image. The processing method comprises: sampling an initial image to obtain a target image; performing regional division on the target image to obtain a plurality of sub-images; expanding the image boundary of a first type of sub-image to obtain an expanded first type of sub-image; down-sampling the expanded first type of sub-image to obtain a down-sampled first type of sub-image; encoding a second type of sub-image and the down-sampled first type of sub-image to obtain a code stream; and writing position information and expansion information of the plurality of sub-images into the code stream, the expansion information of the first type of sub-image being used to indicate that the image boundary of the first type of sub-image has expanded and the width of the image boundary expansion, and the expansion information of the second type of sub-image being used to indicate that the image boundary of the second type of sub-image has not expanded. The present application can better eliminate boundaries generated when stitching sub-images.
