Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and a device for processing a video signal on the basis of an intra mirror prediction (IMP) mode, and specifically, relates to a method and a device therefor, the method comprising the steps of: splitting a current block into two blocks, wherein the current block is split in a vertical direction on the basis of an IMP mode of the current block being a vertical directional mode, and the current block is split in a horizontal direction on the basis of the IMP mode of the current block being a horizontal directional mode; acquiring mode information indicating the intra prediction direction of the current block; on the basis of the acquired mode information and a reference sample of a neighboring block adjacent to the current block, acquiring a prediction value of a first block, among the two blocks; and on the basis of the prediction value of the specific block, acquiring a prediction value of a second block, among the two blocks.
