Abstract:
Provided are a method and device for processing a voice call, said method being: a first base station receiving a message carrying first indication information; said first indication information being used for indicating that a user equipment (UE) must perform a voice service; on the basis of said first indication information, the first base station triggering the UE to redirect to a second base station. In this way it is possible to prevent the problem, when a UE is performing a voice service, of a base station that does not support VoLTE voice services affecting voice service quality by falling back to a 2G/3G network by means of a CSFB fallback mechanism; it is also more compatible with 4G network carrier deployment requirements and enables better implementation of VoLTE.
