Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for producing a coating material in which is mixed material containing a powder and a solvent, the method including: a preliminary stirring step (100) in which the material is subjected to preliminary stirring; a high-speed stirring step in which intermediate material obtained in the preliminary stirring step is supplied to a high-speed mixer (300) having a container (310) and a rotating member (330) which rotates at high speed just inside the inner wall surface (311) of this container, and the intermediate material present in the form of a film between the rotating member (330) and the inner wall surface (311) is stirred continuously by the centrifugal force produced by the rotating member (330); and a vacuum defoaming step in which the stirred material obtained in the high-speed stirring step is introduced into treatment tanks (501), (502), (503) fitted with stirring blades and subjected to vacuum defoaming.
