Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing an electronic component (1) having external contact surfaces (2), which comprise a layer made of metal or of a metal alloy. The thickness of the layer of an outer contact decreases from a central area to an edge area. In order to realize a layer of this type, the electronic component (1), after the completion thereof, is rheologically processed by heating the electronic component in a formic acid vapor-containing protective gas atmosphere (6) up to at least the flow temperature of the layer surface.
