Abstract:
The subject matter of the invention is a device for producing lean gas and wood charcoal from solid fuels, comprising a gasifier (10), in particular a co-current gasifier, for producing lean gas and comprising a pyrolysis chamber (3) for charring solid fuels (1) to form wood charcoal (12), wherein the pyrolysis chamber (3) is arranged above the gasifier (10) and connected to the gasifier in such a way that a part of the solid fuels (1) passes from the pyrolysis chamber into the gasifier (10) and that heat rising from the gasifier (10) heats the solid fuels (1) located in the pyrolysis chamber (3).
