Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] A method and device for producing a power transmission pin, in which,
in applying appropriate residual compressing stress to a link by increased pretension
force, damage to the pin can be prevented. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The device
for producing a power transmission pin has a pretension force-applying device
(31) having a pretension-applying first pulley (32) over which an endless chain
(1) is passed and also has a pretension-applying second pulley (33). Opposed
sheave surfaces (32a, 33a) of each pretension-applying pulley (32, 33) have
a concaved shape corresponding to convex curved sections (14a) of the end faces
of the pin (14).
