Abstract:
A method for producing a product by hydrolyzing a starting material containing a vegetable waste, said method comprising a hydrolysis step for hydrolyzing the starting material with steam, a washing step for washing the hydrolyzed material with a washing liquor, and a solid-liquid separation step for separating the washed material into a solid portion and a liquid portion, wherein the solid portion and/or the liquid portion are collected as the product.
A device for producing a product by hydrolyzing a starting material containing a vegetable waste, said device comprising a hydrolysis unit for hydrolyzing the starting material with steam, a washing unit for washing the hydrolyzed material with a washing liquor, and a solid-liquid separation unit for separating the washed material into a solid portion and a liquid portion.
According to the present invention, a method and a device for producing a product, whereby the product can be produced within a short period of time from a starting material containing a vegetable waste, can be provided.
