METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PROTECTING CLUTCH IN VEHICLE TRAVELING PROCESS

A method for protecting a clutch in vehicle traveling process, comprising: obtaining the oil temperature of the space where the clutch is located, and determining whether the current oil temperature is in the set temperature range or not; if the current oil temperature is in the set temperature range, detecting whether the current wheel speed difference between a front axle and a rear axle reaches the set wheel speed difference threshold or not, and if the current wheel speed difference between the front axle and the rear axle reaches the set wheel speed difference threshold, triggering a first preset protecting mode to protect the clutch, under the first protecting mode, the maximum output torque of an engine being not greater than the current output torque; and if the current oil temperature is higher than the set temperature range, triggering a second preset protecting mode to protect the clutch, under the second protecting mode, the maximum output torque of the engine being reduced to a predetermined torque threshold, and the torque threshold being less than the maximum output torque of the engine under the first protecting mode. By means of the method, the temperature of the clutch can be effectively controlled, and the clutch is prevented from generating too much heat. Also involved is a device for protecting clutch in vehicle traveling process.
