Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and a device for providing a surgical simulation, and the method comprises the steps of: when a surgical simulation is started, retrieving a medical image; performing surface rendering to generate at least one layer for multiple structures included in the medical image; performing volume rendering of a modification layer selected from among the at least one layer; and when modification of at least one structure included in the modification layer is completed, performing surface rendering of the modification layer to be retransformed. Other embodiments are also applicable.
