Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention allow, under a flexible registration mode of a terminal device, the implementation of a network switchover across systems. Provided are a method and device for radio communication. The method comprises: a first network device of a first system determines a current registration mode and/or a supported registration mode of a terminal device, the registration mode being a single registration mode for registration in a single system or a dual registration mode for registration in two systems, where the terminal device is connected to a first cell of the first system; and the first network device determines, on the basis of the current registration mode and/or the supported registration mode of the terminal device, a process that needs to be executed or cannot be executed by the terminal device for connecting to a second cell of a second system.
