Abstract:
Provided is a method for reaching consensus in a blockchain, comprising: receiving election data items transmitted by blockchain nodes having first account balances and/or second account balances, each election data item comprising information of a blockchain node selected by the blockchain node transmitting the election data item; and determining, on the basis of the election data items received in a current round, a blockchain consensus node from the selected blockchain nodes in the respective election data items, such that the blockchain consensus node performs a block packaging operation in a new round. A value in the first account of each blockchain node represents an amount of digital currency owned by the blockchain node. A value in the second account of each blockchain node represents the number of votes possessed by the blockchain node. Also provided are a device for reaching consensus in a blockchain, a computer system, and a computer readable medium.
