Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of core networks. Disclosed are a method and device for realizing a USSD function in an IMS network. The method comprises: performing a protocol conversion processing on an uplink USSD signaling from a terminal to obtain an uplink USSD signaling supported by a USSD center, and transmitting the uplink USSD signaling to the USSD center; and performing a protocol conversion processing on a downlink USSD signaling from the USSD center to obtain a downlink USSD signaling supported by the terminal, and transmitting the downlink USSD signaling to the terminal. When a 2G/3G network is upgraded to an IMS network, the present invention can effectively reuse existing network resources and reduce investment costs of an operator.
