Abstract:

Disclosed are a method and device for receiving and sending application layer parameter information. In the embodiments of the present invention, a UE comprises an RAC module and a sending module. The RAC module is located at an application layer, an operating system layer or a baseband layer of the UE. The RAC module is used to acquire first information, wherein the first information comprises application layer parameter information about the user equipment (UE); and the sending module is used to send the first information acquired by the RAC module to a network side device, via radio resource control (RRC) signalling or a data radio bearer (DRB) corresponding to an air interface. The embodiments of the present invention implement application layer parameter information interaction between a network side device and an upper layer of a UE, so that the network side device acquires an application layer parameter of a user equipment side, and performs a corresponding adjustment or operation, thereby improving the user experience.
