Abstract:

The present application is applicable in the technical field of the internet. Provided are a method and device for reconnecting a push service, comprising: if a push service start instruction is received, then activating an exception reconnection monitor; adding a communication link to a listened object list of an application environment collecting thread, and acquiring an operating parameter of the communication link via the application environment collecting thread; calling the exception reconnection listener to extract the operating parameter from an output signal of the application environment collecting thread, and determining an exception index of the operating parameter; if the exception index is greater than an exception threshold, then executing a reconnection operation on the basis of a reconnection response parameter, and acquiring a post-reconnection exception index until the post-reconnection exception index is less than or equal to the exception threshold. The embodiments of the present application obviate the reliance on a looping task under a main thread to detect an exception of the communication link, thus releasing a large amount of resources originally used for maintaining the looping task, and increasing the efficiency of the reconnection operation.
