Abstract:

Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application are a method and a device for reducing the packet loss ratio of a transmission, which are used for reducing the packet loss ratio of transmission and improving the transmission quality. In some feasible embodiments of the present application, the method comprises: a source end determining a redundancy factor and a redundancy degree, the redundancy factor indicating the ratio of data for which a redundancy transmission is required, and the redundancy degree indicating the number of copies repeated during the redundancy transmission; determining, according to the redundancy factor, the data packet for which a redundancy transmission is required; and repeatedly sending the data packet to a target end according to the number of copies indicated by the redundancy degree.
