Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and device for reducing a peak-to-average ratio (PAR). The method comprises: searching for, a wave peak of a time domain data signal; if the found wave peak of the time domain data signal has at least one wave peak value exceeding a preset threshold, performing, according to a pre-generated time domain-based signal, cancellation processing on the at least one wave peak value of the time domain data signal to reduce the wave peak value of the time domain data signal, wherein the time domain-based signal is a time domain signal created by using a predetermined carrier, and the predetermined carrier is an out-of-band carrier and/or an intra-band carrier. Using the above method can reduce a PAR without affecting a data rate and performance of a system.
