Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a method and device for reporting mobility state in a mobile communication system. A method for reporting the mobility state of a user equipment in a mobile communication system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may comprise the steps of: triggering a Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection re-establishment procedure in an RRC connected mode; determining the mobility state in the RRC connected mode; performing cell selection to select a suitable cell; transmitting an RRC Reestablishment Request message to the selected suitable cell; and including the mobility state in an RRC Reestablishment complete message and transmitting the message to the suitable cell when an RRC setup message is received from the suitable cell in response to the RRC Reestablishment Request.
