Abstract:
A method and device for reserving TCP connection, the method includes: when the
data is transmitted, the said main board obtains the boundary information of
the data for transmitting, the said data and its boundary information are reserved
to the said standby board; when the data is being received, the said standby board
reserves the data and its boundary information received by the opposite terminal
to the main board, and the data received by the opposite is canceled from the data
reserved in local according to the boundary information of the data received
by the said opposite terminal. In the example of this invention, the boundary
information of the data is obtained before the data is transmitted, then the data
and its boundary information is reserved to the standby board. After taking turns,
the standby board retransmits the data according to the boundary information
of the reserved data in order that the opposite terminal guarantees to receive
the integrated data, thereby it can be realized to protect the data when the main
and standby boards take turns. It improves the reliability of the main and standby
boards taking turns and the efficiency of the data transmission. The reservation
of TCP connection can be finished without depending on the application program,
and has widespread applicability.
