Abstract:
A method for robot calibration comprises: performing, at mechanical zero positions, calibration on zero position values of respective axes of a robot, and establishing a coordinate system according to a calibration result (S11); before a mechanical change in the robot, storing position values of the respective axes of the robot in the coordinate system (S12); and after the mechanical change in the robot, performing recalibration according to the stored position values of the respective axes of the robot (S13). Also provided is a device for robot calibration. The method and device eliminate the need to calibrate respective axes of a robot at mechanical zero positions when zero calibration needs to be repeated.
