Abstract:
A method and device for rotating and machining a bar material, wherein a disk-shaped rotor is held rotatably around an horizontal axis, a pair of rails which are opposed radially to each other and have arc-shaped sliding surfaces in parallel with each other are provided near the peripheral edge of the front end face of the rotor, a tool holder is engaged slidably with each of the pair of rails, a tool is fixed to a tool holder, a bar material as a material is moved toward the rotating center of the rotor and fixedly held between the tools and, while the rotor is rotated, the tools are moved in the directions opposite to each other along the rails.
