Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for sensing a surrounding environment using image segmentation. A learning method of an artificial neural network for receiving a marine image and outputting information on the type and distance of an object included in the marine image, comprises: a step of obtaining a marine image including the sea and obstacles; a step of generating labeling data including a plurality of labeling values from the marine image; a step of receiving, by means of an artificial neural network, the marine image and outputting output data including a plurality of output values; a step of calculating an error value using the labeling data and the output data; and a step of updating the artificial neural network on the basis of the error value.
