Abstract:
Provided in embodiments of the present application are a method and device for single-line communication. The method comprises: a transmitting end transmits a single-line communication packet to a receiving end, the single-line communication packet comprising a header part and a data part, the header part comprising an identifier field, a length field, and a check field, the identifier field being used for identifying a message type corresponding to the single-line communication packet, and the length field indicating the length of the data part; and the transmitting end receives a response packet transmitted by the receiving end, the format of the response packet being identical to the format of the single-line communication packet, where the transmitting end and the receiving end are connected via a single line. In the embodiments of the present application, the transmitting end transmits the single-line communication packet to the receiving end, the receiving end feeds back to the transmitting end the response packet identical in format to the single-line communication packet, the single-line communication packet corresponding to different messages. Hence, when the transmitting end and the receiving end are connected via a single line, both transmitting and receiving parties can transmit single-line communication packets of different messages to the other party via the single line, thus implementing a mechanism for two-way communication on a single line for both the transmitting and receiving parties.
