Abstract:
A method and device for splitting a super-cell, the method comprising: sequentially performing multiple pre-splits according to a preset policy with respect to a to-be-split super-cell; for each of the pre-splits, calculating a carrier-to-interference ratio after the super-cell is pre-split, and the carrier-to-interference ratio of a cell-portion(CP) pre-split from the super-cell; determining a formal to-be-split CP according to the carrier-to-interference ratio of the super-cell and the carrier-to-interference ratio of the CP pre-split from the super-cell corresponding to each of the post-splits; and splitting the formal to-be-split CP from the to-be-split super-cell. The method and device for splitting the super-cell provided in the above technical solution enables a super-cell no longer active as a result of a change in network environment to be split into new super-cells and cell-portions to satisfy the performance requirements, ensuring fully taking advantage of system resources and effectively preventing wasting thereof.
