Abstract:
The present invention provides a method and a device for sterilizing a sleeve for paper containers, which enables shortening a manufacturing process while performing reliable sterilization. This sterilization method is for a sleeve in a germ-free filling device, and comprises forming a bottomed tubular paper container by closing one of the open ends of a tubular sleeve having a wall surface formed at least by layering paper, and then sterilizing, filling, and sealing said paper container, wherein while the sleeve is kept in an upright position like an erect column, the inner surface of the sleeve that is to serve as the bottom of the paper container is sprayed with hot air containing a disinfecting agent so as to simultaneously sterilize the inner surface of the bottom and apply heat for the purpose of closing the bottom.
