Abstract:

Provided is a method for pedestrian counting in a forward looking surveillance scenario, comprising: configuring positions of a detection area and of a detection line (101); performing a head area and shoulder area detection on a motion mask image in the detection area, determining an exact head area on the basis of a positional relation between the head area and the shoulder area (102); tracking a motion trajectory of the determined head area (103); and, counting pedestrians in respect of direction on the basis of the motion trajectory and of the position of the detection line (104). Also provided are a device and storage medium for pedestrian counting in a forward looking surveillance scenario.
