Abstract:
A method and a device for suppressing combustion inside a battery pack are disclosed. The method for suppressing combustion comprises the steps of: acquiring a signal for a change in illuminance inside the battery pack by using a sensor coupled to the battery pack; and cutting off the flow of air between the inside and the outside of the battery pack through a fire suppression device coupled to the battery pack in response to a signal level recognized according to the change in illuminance.
