Abstract:
A method and device for suppressing noise in airborne electromagnetic data. The method comprises: dividing, on the basis of a principal component analysis, profile data into principal components arranged according to the values of variance; and removing residual noise in low-order principal components using minimum noise separation transformation. With regard to the problems that the noise level of airborne electromagnetic later channel profile data is high and thus abnormity cannot be extracted easily, the introduction of the theory of statistical analysis not only can comprehensively remove the residual noise in the low-order principal components and effectively extract abnormal information flooded by noise in the low-order principal components, but also can avoid the problem that the later channel abnormal information is affected by an early channel because of directly implementing the minimum noise separation transformation, thereby effectively suppressing the later channel noise.
