Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for clock synchronization among base band units (BBUs), comprising: a radio remote unit determines a clock source of a BBU among multiple BBUs connected to the radio remote unit as a main clock source, and the clock sources of the remaining BBUs as slave clock sources, wherein the remaining BBUs are the BBUs of the multiple BBUs except for said BBU; the radio remote unit obtains clock information of the main clock source; and the radio remote unit synchronizes the clock information of the slave clock sources according to the clock information of the main clock source. By means of the method for clock synchronization among BBUs provided by embodiments of the present invention, clock synchronization among BBUs can be implemented without adding any hardware, thereby reducing complexity of clock synchronization among BBUs and providing convenience.
