Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present invention are a method, a device and a system for downlink synchronization, relating to the field of communications, being capable of reducing the complexity of downlink synchronization and improving the efficiency of downlink synchronization. The method for downlink synchronization comprises: a base station transmitting, by means of a dedicated signaling or a system message, downlink synchronization reference information to an UE, the downlink synchronization reference information being used for indicating the UE to downlink-synchronize, referring to a downlink synchronization channel of a first cell, with a second cell; and the base station transmitting, according to position information of the UE, in the second cell, to the UE a beam containing a downlink synchronization channel, the first cell and the second cell comprising overlapping coverage areas. The embodiments of the present invention are used for synchronization channel transmission.
