Abstract:
A method for implementing IPTV services is disclosed in the present invention,
which involves the field of computer and network technologies. The method includes
the steps of: acquiring and storing program characteristic information for
decoding IPTV program from network side by a user terminal; receiving multicast
message data of IPTV and decoding the multicast message data based on the stored
corresponding program characteristic information by the user terminal. The
present invention also discloses a method for implementing IPTV services in
network side, as well as a device and system for implementing IPTV services. According
to the present invention, it is possible to decrease the time delay of receiving
program or switching channel by the terminal in IPTV services.
