Abstract:
A method for negotiating context is disclosed, which is used for a UE and Radio
Access Technology entity (RAT) keeping a Context Record Number (CRN) respectively
and includes following steps: the UE sends an accessing request with CRN to the
first RAT. The first RAT makes a conclusion whether the received CRN is consistent
with the CRN kept in itself or not. If not, the first RAT sends a request to the second
RAT for transferring context. At the same time, another method for negotiating
context, relative system and RAT entity are disclosed. The solutions above can
avoid unnecessary process for context synchronizing.
