Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of images. Provided in an embodiment of the present invention are a method, device and system for playing a 360 degree panoramic video enabling a user to switch between angles at which a video is played more efficiently. The method comprises: receiving, by a video player, a search instruction, and displaying, according to the search instruction, positioning information of a currently playing 360 degree panoramic video, the positioning information comprising descriptive information of contents of the 360 degree panoramic video played within multiple angle ranges, such that a user determines, according to the descriptive information of the contents of the 360 degree panoramic video played within the multiple angle ranges, the contents of the 360 degree panoramic video played within the multiple angle ranges; and receiving a switch instruction, and switching, according to the switch instruction, an angle range within which the 360 degree panoramic video is played from an angle range within which a currently playing content is played to a first angle range, the first angle range being an angle range selected by the user from the multiple angle ranges.
