Abstract:
A method for the policy control, a communication device and a multimedia communication system for implementing the policy control, for resolving the problem that the PCEF (104) cannot obtain the matched control policy in time, consequently it cannot effectively control the session for the target user device (100). The method includes : according to the policy request information, the PCRF (102) obtains or generates a plurality of the control policies of several target user devices (100), and sends a plurality of the control policies to the PCEF (104), wherein the several target user devices (100) correspond to an identical common user identifier; the PCEF(104) executes the respond information sent by one of the several target user devices (100), selects a corresponding control policy from a plurality of the control policies and executes it. Thus, the PCEF (104) can obtain the updated control policy in time, consequently it can effectively control a corresponding target user device (100) to make a matched session control.
