Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application relate to a method for sending a message. In the method, a network device receives a packet, and recognizes a flow to which the packet belongs to be a delay sensitive flow of a reserved resource, the reserved resource comprising the number of packets that the flow can send in a time window; then the network device arranges the packet in a specific time window to be sent according to the number of packets that the flow can send in a time window and the number of packets existed in a queue for sending the flow in the condition of accumulatively sending packets in the time window. The method can increase utilized bandwidth of the delay sensitive flow and improve the bandwidth utilization.
